The Municipality of Cervantes celebrates the Nutrition Month with the theme: “Kumain nang wasto at maging aktibo, Push natin ‘to”. The program includes nutrition activities: a. motorcade using elf in each barangay showcasing their products, b. cooking contest (all participants were men), c. Quiz bee, and d. Sayawit.
The Municipal Health Personnel together with the DILG Representative as the program leader with the participation of Agriculturist’s Office, the cooking contest were held. Most of the cook were barangay officials, and the winning recipe was prepared by Barangay Libang- Punong Barangay Eddie Cortez.
The Municipal Mayor, Pablito Benjamin Maggay II, shared a reminder on the daily activities that Cervantenians should undertake and consider to secure welfare to the coming generations. Nowadays, people struggle on how to live healthy with an environment full of distraction. Though these distractions were possible because of actions done by people living in their respective environment. It is time to ACT, before it’s too LATE!
