Every June 14 each year is a Holiday celebrated in Cervantes to commemorate the Victory of the Battle of Bessang Pass. The bravery and triumph of the Filipino soldiers during the last stand of the World War II, it undeniably depicts heroism of our forefathers who fought and gained our independence which we are enjoying at present time.
Today we are battling an enemy unlike the soldiers’ way of violence and defense. The pandemic brought to us by COVID-19 should be ended, and the only way we can is to cooperate to whatever measures being implemented by the National Task Force against COVID-19.
Our Front Liners now cannot stand alone to battle our current enemy. This is a battle which encourages unity and discipline, with that we can win. With God’s blessing, we heal as one.
