The LDRRMC once again initiated workshop on Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan Formulation through the initiative of the Municipal Mayor, Pablito Benjamin P. Maggay II and LDRRMO, Romeo M. Acyangan. The workshop composed of five (5) modules was conducted with the participation of different agencies: Bureau of Fire Protection, Department of Education, Municipal Employees and Barangay Secretaries of the 13 barangays. To sum up the activity, one among the participants composed a song regarding the workshop;

The Workshop was facilitated by representatives from the Office of Civil Defense namely Mr. Renzie Ivan A. Costales and Ms. Imelda M. Acosta. The workshop is of great help in planning formulation on Disaster Preparedness by the community and with the involvement of different organizations in Cervantes. That’s why ORGANIZATIONS are encouraged to participate in this Planning Formulation to address some issues before and during disasters. Help us spread Disaster Preparedness and the safety of the Municipality can be maintained and challenges could be addressed.
