THE NEW PNP BUILDING

The newly constructed PNP Building of Cevantes, Ilocos Sur was inaugurated last April 5, 2017 at around 10:00 o’clock in the morning. The program started with a short prayer followed by the blessing of the building by Rev. Fr. Lester Joseph R. Plana, Parish Priest of Holy Child of Prague Parish Church. PSUPT. Elpidio R. Nartatez, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration introduced the Guest of Honor and Speaker of the said program. Regretfully, Police Regional PCSUPT. Charlo C. Collado supposedly graces the said event but due to an emergency command conference he was no able to make it. However, PSUPT. Adolfo T. Rafanan, Chief, Regional Logistic Director represented the good Regional Director and he read and conveyed the message of the Regional Director. The New PNP Building was constructed through the relentless efforts during the incumbency of former Municipal Mayor Hon. Benjamin N. Maggay and with the continued active support of the incumbent Municipal Mayor Hon. Pablito Benjamin P. Maggay II. More so, worthy to note that PCI Napoleon S. Gao-ay was then the incumbent Chief of Police during the construction until the inauguration of the building. Hon. Pablito Benjamin P. Maggay II, Municipal Mayor delivered his message with profound gratitude to the PNP for having the new infrastructure. He likewise guaranteed a better partnership between the PNP and LGU. Notably, the LGU has been very supportive to the PNP. Other visitors who partaken and witnessed the said program includes Congressman Eric D. Singson, Vice Governor Jeremias Singson, PCI George R. Marca, Police Regional Engineer, Vice Mayor Armando Gaburno, Members of the Sangunian Bayan, LGU employees and other stake holders. The program ended with words of thanks from PCI Napoleon S. Gao-ay, Chief of Police.
