The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur headed by Governor Ryan Luis V. Singson again aided the farmers of Cervantes to achieve the aim of elevating the lives of its people and reduce poverty incidence in the province. The distribution of over 951 packs of free Hybrid Rice HR 182 also known as the “Ryan Rice” serves as a subsidy for the farmers to continually produce quality agricultural products and 5,500 sachet of Humus, an organic soil conditioner and plant growth stimulant to ensure the conservation of the richness of the land. Sanggunian Panlalawigan “Jimboy” Singson headed the awarding together with the Municipal Mayor, Sanggunian Bayan Members and the Municipal Agriculture Officer.
