The Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) of the DA distributed Rice Seeds to the Farmers of Cervantes. Aside from the Rice Seeds, the DA also offered free vegetable seeds through its Plan Plant Plant Program. To support these programs from the National Government, the PAO distributed Foliar Organic Fertilizer, Farm Aid and Soil Conditioner. All of which were given as a package Yesterday, June 7, 2022.
The Municipal Mayor Pablito Benjamin Maggay II, in his speech, reminded every farmer to take good care of their health most specially when handling chemicals in controlling pests. He reiterated that the farmers should be compassionate on their task because they hold the most important role in the community.
