Congratulations again to the Municipality of Cervantes 3rd place for being most competitive in government efficiency 3rd -6th class municipality in the region 1 and rank 14 out of 519 Local Government Units Nationwide. The award was given by the national competitive council and regional competitive committee –Region 1 composed of Department of Trade Industry (DTI) headed by Florante O. Leal, CESO II, regional director, Department of Interior Local Government (DILG ) headed by Julie J. Daquioag,Ph. D., CESO IV Regional Director and Nelson N. Yuchongtian , Vice Chairperson, RCC 1 representative of private sector. The award was given at San Fernando City, La Union last April 20, 2016.
